Do you have a place that you love to escape to on vacation? Mine is St. George. Well - if we are talking about in-state escapes. I took a spontaneous trip there with my mom and little sis, Haley to watch her dance competition.

Let me just tell you a little bit about Haley. She is in her junior year at Alta High - you think because she is in high school and is the last kid left at home she'd maybe be a bit spoiled? She's not - she's just a such a strong, selfless teenager and I hope my kids are half as good as her. Love ya Hales!

So, I got a puppy (Toby) in February and had to give him away because I was allergic. But we get to watch him this weekend! His new name is Rhys.

Here is the video of me giving him away to his new owner. His parents bought him for her as a birthday surprise. This girl LOVES the little puppy so much. Her reaction is priceless!

Springdale Getaway
Clay and I decided it was high time to escape on a little road trip with just the two of us. We went to Springdale, a quaint little town at the foot of Zion National Park, and stayed at the Red Rock Inn bed and breakfast cottages. The innkeeper brought us homemade breakfast in a basket each morning. It was perfect!

We took a day to hike around Zion. It was on the cold side, but gorgeous.

On our way into Springdale, we couldn't help but stop at the petting zoo. That stinkin' llama SPIT on me just seconds later!

These hats were a great find at a little indian trading post. It wasn't until after we took these stunning photos that we read the sign: "These hats are for buying, NOT pictures!" Whoops.
