Springdale Getaway
Clay and I decided it was high time to escape on a little road trip with just the two of us. We went to Springdale, a quaint little town at the foot of Zion National Park, and stayed at the Red Rock Inn bed and breakfast cottages. The innkeeper brought us homemade breakfast in a basket each morning. It was perfect!

We took a day to hike around Zion. It was on the cold side, but gorgeous.
On our way into Springdale, we couldn't help but stop at the petting zoo. That stinkin' llama SPIT on me just seconds later!
These hats were a great find at a little indian trading post. It wasn't until after we took these stunning photos that we read the sign: "These hats are for buying, NOT pictures!" Whoops.

First of all, who took your picture in Zions, the llama? You are both nerds for wearing those silly hats. And last of all, you are both nerds even without the hats.
Kimmie! Ha ha, I love those hat pictures and I'm so glad you stopped to get a photo with my great grandpa Running Bear. He was a good man. We've missed you guys! I'm glad you got to getaway!! We need to do something SOON.
I'm jealous! That looks like such a cool little b&b. If it weren't for my fatitude, we totally should go on a weekend trip this summer to Georgie or Zions! We'll see how large and in charge I am by then.
