When we saw 50% off registrations for the Provo Marathon on Groupon, we knew we had to jump on them. Clay ran the half marathon (after only a month of training, alone I might add!) and I opted for the easier option -- the 5K.
I'm glad I stuck with the 5K instead of doing the half relay style like I was considering because I conveniently hurt my back at a spin class a couple of days ago and was wondering how I was even going to run an entire 3.2 miles. To top it off, I woke up at 3:30 a.m. and could not go back to sleep. At least I was able to wish Clay good luck when his alarm went off at 5 a.m.!
My sisters and parents ran the 5K too and it was so fun to do it as a family.

| I was so glad my sister spotted Clay right after he crossed the finish line so I could give him a sweaty hug. He did awesome and I was so proud of him! |
