I hate shots.

{I love this smile.}

But when I took Ellie to get her 2-month shots today, I was definitely not smiling. As I waited in the windowless room for the nurse, Ell-bell was smiling and cooing at me and I almost cried just thinking of the potential pain and heart-wrenching cries that were about to come.
But when the nurse stuck those blasted needles in her legs, she cried for about five seconds and was back to smiling. That's my girl.

{Here is a picture my photographer-sister took. Seeing my love with his little daughter melts my heart.}

What else did the doctor tell you about Ellie, besides she's the cutest baby they've ever seen?

I know exactly how you felt. I (Jonny) got super anxious before they gave Jenna her shots. Seems like i felt it more than Jenna. The nurse had the second needle in before Jenna even realised what was going on, but by the time she got a noise out it was all done. 5 seconds later (with a hug from Mum of course) she was back to her merry old self!
