- I love unpacking my clothes into drawers at hotel. It makes me feel all moved in and committed to my vacation. In fact, I love packing too — because it means I am going on a trip. (Still rings true for when I packed for the hospital. Talk about a trip — especially when they gave me morphene.)
- I religiously abide by expiration dates. My mom calls it picky. I call it a fresh obsession.
- I crave change. I get bored of things that remain the same, so I'm always switching up my daily routine, my meals, my clothes, etc.
- My pinkies are crooked. And I passed that trait onto little Ell-bell.
- I have 10 sisters. At one point, seven of us shared a half-bathroom.
- I cannot stand the sound of styrofoam scraping against cardboard.
- Clay puts a little piece of paper over the pin-sized pilot light on our humidifier every night because I swear it disrupts my sleep. Come on — someone out there has got to have crazy sleeping preferences too.
- I think the smells of rain-soaked sidewalks, Comet cleanser and chalk dust are intoxicating. I think it might something to do with an iron deficiency.
- Bright orange kind of grosses me out.
- I have a freaky-good memory with certain things. I remember several random scenes from my life when I was only three years old.

Interesting...there were a couple that even I didnt' know!
I'm so with ya on expiration dates. Trav thinks I'm nuts, but I toss anything that has gone past that magic date.
1.So you get the sleeping disorder from me. If there is a light on anywhere in the house I can sense it with my eyes closed. We must have camel eyelids. They close their eyes during dust storms, but can see through them to see where they are going.
2. I love the smell of gasoline, copy ink, pine cleaners, a certain kind of cigarette smoke! YUK! It just reminds me of high school where a lot of my friends smoked. Haven't smelled it in decades. And I love perfume.
3. I have so many pet peaves that it's down right embarrassing to mention them, so I won't.
4.I love getting and sending letters/packages, real ones with a stamp and an envelope.
5.And I love getting lost in a good book.
steve would laugh so hard if he knew about your sleeping preferences because i am the SAME WAY!! i hated the monitor tiny dot light when trying to sleep. it has to be pitch black everywhere, and no sounds. even if steve is going to be watching tv while i'm in bed and promises to have no volume, just KNOWING the tv is on makes me not able to sleep. its kind of ridiculous i'll admit.
and i'm the same with expiration dates. i don't like to take the chance.....
